I look like I'm 18

It's officially been a week plus one day since my sister's wedding and meanwhile I've been missing my little 5-year-old-cousin Dylan from Calgary. I don't know who wouldn't be able to fall in love with this kid - he named his stuffed animal after me for goodness' sake. I tried really hard to be his favourite cousin but I've been overrided by some other cousin in Alberta... apparently this other cousin buys him things... lots of things... more things than I've bought him... if only I hadn't used so much of my line of credit already!
Seriously though, you can't buy love. Deep down I know Dylan loves me more - come on - he named his stuffed animal after meeeee!!

Anyways the past few days I've been hanging with my British cousin crew taking them to the havens otherwise known as Yorkdale mall and Canada's Wonderland. I've been feeding them lots of Kernels popcorn so as to secure the "Betty's-my-favourite-cousin" position... actually they don't eat much (some other British-kid-thing I've observed) so maybe it's just to satisfy my own cravings. The week has been quite eventful:

1) Augustus Gloop was the frickin' funniest kid in the movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". I give the film 7/10... the beginning was very good and since I'm the ULTIMATE Roald Dahl fan that's a pretty good evaluation... (btw I think HARRY POTTER is seriously overrated - fans can disagree all they want but it's true.)
2) Canada's Wonderland has all of a sudden become fun with the addition of the "Italian Job" ride - one of my favourite action movies of all time! Who would have thought I would have been able to stand in line for an hour at every ride without going totally ballistic... maybe I'm becoming more patient! (My higher order thought processes say that is highly doubtful.)
3) I also won bigtime at the "Guess Your Age" game at Wonderland... the kid working at the booth thought I was EIGHTEEN! Ha!!! I wish! I'm totally loving the stuffed Batman I won for that.
4) I got the world's most amazing lighter for five bucks at Kitchen Stuff Plus yesterday - I bought it for no reason at all (always happens when I'm shopping with Sabrina heheh) and I'm seriously turning into a pyromaniac test-lighting the thing. I think I'm gonna run out of butane before I even actually get to light anything that's supposed to be lit.
5) I got the best news ever - the Biosciences Atrium at Queen's (where ALL of my classes next year will be held) will now have a FULL-SERVICE TIMMY HO'S. OMG I'm gonna be so well fed... if you can't find me in lecture or in hospital I'll most likely be lining up for a toasted whole wheat & honey bagel with butter or Tim's Own™ chicken noodle soup or a small english toffee cappucino or a small ice cap before it turns into winter in three weeks or a french cruiller if I feel particularly deserving... Now I will have a REAL reason to wake up at 8:28 every morning!

Today's newly discovered diagnosis: Canker sores (a.k.a aphthous ulcers) which are not to be confused with chancre sores associated with syphilis. These mouth ulcers are also known as "yeet hei" to the poor afflicted Chinese... and are not contagious!
