Gotta love them Mario Bros.
So on my trip to the bookstore the other day I didn't walk out with one book but three books. I got a lot of nerd accusations about this, but it's not me - the bookstore is evil. Plus the only reason why I feel I require these books is because medical school has made me feel stupider and not brighter... perhaps it's a new form of medical school syndrome I should invent. The new Betty syndrome? Medical stupiditis? Not the "T-u-o-n-g syndrome" 'cuz that just sounds ugly.
(In the previous paragraph there were six occurrences of the word "book").
Yesterday two girls came to our house to do a trial for my sister's bridal hair and make-up. I have never seen two girls so enthused about make-up and all things girly. Imagine if all I had to do all day was chirp about how absolutely fah-bulous this new blush is and oh how Asian eyes should be done like this and etcetera, etcetera, being able to go on about things that truly prove I'm a girl and not a man. Seriously, of the 12 types of medical students I'm surely the one who says "Screw this, I'm going to go fold pants at the Gap!" But no, no, I'm only being negative because for some reason I wasn't born with the "I'm-a-girl-and-I-love-weddings-eee!-eee!-eee!" gene. All kidding aside, the girls were truly talented and my sister looked beautiful.
Anyways at the moment I'm being summoned to play "Yoshi's Story" on Nintendo 64, my little sister's newly acquired game system. Like me, she was deprived all the latest in the video game world throughout her childhood, only to be seriously hampered in later life and coveting ancient systems at garage sales. I like that she makes me play these ghetto games though - this is how we spend quality time together, singing ghetto Nintendo songs.... Doot doot doot doot doot doo doo...
