Bus Letter
Right my now my little sister Rose is writing a "bus letter" to her friend who is departing on a bus trip to NYC today. So I thought to myself, I should write a bus letter to Rose since I am leaving the continent on Friday. Not only do I want to leave some departing words but I think I should say a few things just in case anything should happen to me. So while this can be taken literally as a morbid goodbye letter I am going to disguise this as a teenage bus letter.
Dear Rose:
I know it is your birthday coming up soon and I'm sorry I can't be there for it. But it's not the first time I haven't been there for your birthday, so I'm sure you'll deal. So that's the first lesson in life - even though sometimes the people who care about you the most aren't always around to tell you about it (like if they're dead or even the people who live in the same house as you i.e. your parents) they are always thinking of you and hoping you are happy and enjoying life.
Wow that sentence was run-on and hard to understand - that's the other lesson in life, sometimes people are hard to understand and emotions come out the wrong way, i.e. in anger when really somebody is just trying to tell you they just want the best for you.
Okay enough deep stuff, I just wanted to tell you a few things before I left:
1) Think of me when you're eating KFC or something juicy and fat like that and feel sorry for me because at that moment I'll be probably be starving and eating a granola bar for dinner
2) You know you'll miss me when I'm no longer yelling at you to turn off your alarm at seven in the morning because you sleep right through it for half an hour, or when I'm not there to dis you up for talking on the phone 24/7, or around 10 PM, the time when I usually get thirsty and ask you to pour me a drink, preferably Fruitopia
3) If for some reason I never get to meet any of your future boyfriends, just remember there is some truth to the saying:

And if you end up with a boy looking like that, well then, we have the same taste in boys!
4) When you grow up, your silly crush on Tom Welling will be a thing of the past, believe you me and soon the shopping mall will be your new place of residence. And since this is a bus letter and everything, I guess it wouldn't be complete without:

Just like Tom, I love you too and I'll be thinking of your mime moves in Kenya!
Farewell,
Betty
p.s. 15 is my lucky number, so I know your 15th birthday will be amazing.
