I delivered a PLACENTA today! How exciting... hey, gotta start with small steps before I get to handle a real baby.
Right now I'm on a regional rotation in Peterborough, Ontario. It's only day 2 but everyone's been really nice and more friendly than usual for a hospital. I guess that's the perk of a smaller centre. Apparently they need an interventional radiologist here but the docs say they won't wait 7 years for me :)
Also, like any good food lover I've already found a great sushi place in Peterborough called Matsu sushi. I highly recommend it!
I didn't write during my internal medicine rotation because I felt like a slave then, a walking zombie with my soul being continually sucked out of body, day in and day out. It was tiresome, really. So, now on to bigger and better things. I will update with more stories soon!
