Good times
I apologize yet again for not being able to write in awhile - this is confounded by a few things, such as the fact that I don't have a stable internet connection at home (but will after Thanksgiving) and I've been enjoying spinning classes at GoodLife (yay GoodLife!)
So I've learned that not having an internet connection at home is pretty debilitating. First off, I never know what the weather is going to be like. Secondly, it will most definitely turn you into a nerd, because almost every other night I've been at the library until 10 PM to do such important things like print off my class notes, beg various institutions who could care less about me for elective spots and check out the most awesome revolutionary lunch box system ever Mr. Bento, which my roommate received for her birthday. And if you happen to have a laptop with a a messed up fan, and when I say messed up, I mean it is FREAKING LOUD whenever the laptop needs to think extra hard and the processor goes all crazy, you have the extra embarassment of everyone staring at you in the library and wondering what the hell could possibly be wrong with a student that would own such a sad excuse for a computer. And so I start again with my pipe dreams of owning a MacBook and renouncing forever my sordid relationships with IBM and IBM knock-offs (Steve Nash told me to buy MDG!)
At this moment I feel like switching gears and going on and on about the sad state of medical education, but somebody else can do it for me.
Until the next time I feel like lugging my bulky laptop to school just for the joy of checking out the deals on chapters.ca and paying my hefty tuition fees,
Yours very truly,
Betty
p.s. On my other blog I had the time to post the world's most deeply profound non-recipe.
